Beer Advent Day 16: Bergbräu Pils

Yesterday we were in Einbeck, today we travel just under 35 kilometers further south to Uslar. The small town lies on the edge of the Solling low mountain range in Lower Saxony. Bergbräu is the name of the brewery from which the beer for December 16 comes.

Bergbräu, since 1868

Beer has been produced in the private brewery Bergbräu since 1868; the brewery has been deeply rooted in the region for over 150 years. The connection with the people who live in the rugged region with its extensive beech and oak forests is expressed particularly well with one of the products, Sollinger Landbier Hell.

The brewery's range is generally characterized by lager beers. In addition to Sollinger Landbier Hell, there is a dark beer, a festival beer, a Maibock, a Doppelbock and a Pilsner - the very beer that is supposed to delight us today in the world's beeriest Advent.
