BeerTasting Challenge Munich - April 20, 2024

20 stations, 30 breweries & more than 60 beers

The aim is to find as many breweries and their tasting beers as possible at specified stations and, of course, to taste a beer sample at each! 

YOU are the judge on the day and rate the breweries' beers using the BeerTasting app. 

At the end of the event, the most popular beers of the day will be determined.

And if you complete 10 or more stations, you'll receive a great BeerTasting Challenge Munich metal sign as a reward.

Take part in the "BeerTasting Challenge Munich" on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and get to know breweries and their beers at "BeerTasting Stations" scattered around the city of Munich and the surrounding area.

In 2023, we organized the first BeerTasting Challenge in Salzburg with over 1,000 participants. It was great fun, even though you drank the stations "empty" very early on. 
We have learned from this and, together with the participating breweries, are bringing even more service staff, beer sommeliers and, above all, more beer to Munich. 

So that you are professionally equipped, you will already receive by post

1x Official BeerTaster wristband
1x Official BeerTaster PIN (hiking pin)
10x or 20x tokens - for one token you get a beer sample of approx. 0.1l

The "brewery line-up" includes top breweries and brewers from Munich, the surrounding area, Chiemgau, Lower Bavaria, Upper Bavaria and much more!

The brewers have chosen ingenious locations and restaurants for their stops. We don't want to give too much away, but as a "beer scavenger hunter" you will find the exact locations of their stations on the day of the BeerTasting Challenge. Also exciting: many breweries will be traveling with their fan clubs and friends!

The above-mentioned breweries are partners/exhibitors in the context of the event, they are not organizers. Only the premises of the respective restaurateur/station partner will be used for beer tasting purposes. 

The purchase of tickets / participation is possible from the age of 18.

The aim of the challenge

The ultimate goal of the challenge is to win the coveted BeerTasting Challenge Munich sign. But this shield cannot simply be bought - it has to be earned.

To get their hands on this symbol of beer culture, participants must successfully complete at least 10 stages of the challenge.
The BeerTasting Challenge Munich shield is a sign of recognition for those who have taken up the challenge and mastered it.
