New ranking: The time has come on 1 June!

The change will take place in the night from 31 May to 1 June

As recently announced, we are currently implementing the new ranking: The new calculation will go live from 1 June 2024 at 00:00! The previous score will not be changed - only points received in the future will be calculated according to the ‘New System’.

General information on the calculation: The points are awarded ‘asynchronously’ - this means that it may take a few seconds after an action (e.g. cheers) for the point to be counted.

As before, the order on the leaderboard will be updated several times a day. It is therefore still not ‘live’ but somewhat delayed.

Here you can now see the current points awarded for all categories in the BeerTasting app:

Per Cheers: 1 point
Per rated beer: 1 point
Per friend: 0 points
Per follower: 0 points
Per recruited BeerTaster: 0 points
Per brewery rating/brewery review: 1 point
Per requested beer: 2 points
Per review: 2 points
Per country: 1 point
