The 20th European Beer Star

20 years European Beer Star!
For its 20th edition, the renowned beer competition is coming up with a central novelty: For the first time, the expert tasting will take place in Nuremberg. Of course, the same quality standards will be applied as before: fast acceptance and sorting of the beers sent in, cool storage until the tasting and smooth preparation of the samples on the two tasting days.

The registration phase starts on 3 April. Interested breweries from all over the world can then register their beers online at european-beer-star-en.

New categorie
For the first time, the beer style "Grodziskie" will be tasted - a historical beer style that is enjoying increasing popularity not only in its native Poland. In German-speaking countries, Grodziskie is known as Grätzer. The special characteristic of these beers is the use of smoked wheat malt and the relatively low alcohol content. It lies between 2.5 and 3 %vol.

Flavour profil
As last year, a flavour profile will be created for each beer entered in the European Beer Star and sent to the participants as feedback together with that of the winning beer. Participating breweries will have the opportunity to compare and rank their beers with the winning beers in each category.
